Companies Join Forces to Offer Software and Field Services Solutions to Pipeline Industry

EMS Pipeline Services has signed a product development, testing, and reseller agreement with Accenture, the world's leading global consulting, technology services and outsourcing company. Houston-based EMS is a leading provider of pipeline operations, maintenance and measurement services and technologies to all segments of the energy industry. EMS owns the rights to the industry’s leading gas measurement software – PGAS and is nearing completion of the next generation in gas measurement systems, PGAS XM. PGAS is currently used by more than 25 major energy companies. Accenture has been very active in the pipeline industry for nearly ten years and has a vision to provide clients with an integrated solution for the full “Order to Cash” value chain with PGAS-XM filling the gas measurement requirements.

Key aspects of our new
relationship include:

PGAS is the initial focus of the Accenture and EMS collaboration. Accenture and Avanade, an Accenture and Microsoft alliance, are working with EMS to roll out PGAS-XM. Together, these two companies will provide PGAS-XM implementation and development services to our pipeline customers.

EMS and Accenture offer a broad range of complimentary services to the pipeline industry. This will provide our customers with an opportunity for integrated solutions and new services, capitalizing on the complement of our combined skills.

Accenture gives EMS the immediate capability to scale as needed to support the growing PGAS customer base.
