EMS plans to grow pipeline operations and maintenance services
HOUSTON (March 24, 2004) - EMS Pipeline Services, a business unit of Energy Maintenance Services Group l, LLC (EMS Group), has named their executive team. EMS Group is a business development company focused on providing operations and maintenance services to three major segments of the energy industry – pipelines, power and water facilities. “We’re very excited about our new executive team and we look forward to growing the company as we take on these new roles,” said Tim Nesler, Chief Executive Officer of EMS Group. “EMS Pipeline’s mission is to provide a full range of operations and maintenance services (O&M) to pipeline owners. Tim H. Nesler is a senior business executive with more than 25 years of global expertise in driving profitable growth in challenging, competitive and volatile customer markets. Nesler has extensive experience in commercialization of gas, power, and water operations; corporate finance, and international business development. Nesler is Chief Executive Officer of EMS Pipeline Services and EMS Group.
Arthur R. Robbins is a senior information technology executive with more than 25 years in developing and implementing high-growth and technology strategies for energy, technology and services companies. Robbins has been named Chief Strategy and Information Officer.
Harvey L. Schnitzer is a senior financial executive with more than 23 years of financial, operations and management experience. Schnitzer will serve as Chief Financial Officer.
Sumner W. (Buzz) White is a senior executive with more than 25 years of broad experience in energy, engineering, infrastructure development, operations and maintenance management in industrial, institutional and utility environments. White will serve as Chief Operating Officer.
William E. (Bill) Rome is a senior pipeline operations and measurement services executive with more than 35 years of extensive expertise in natural gas and liquid pipelines, underground storage operations, gas processing operations, offshore pipeline operations, DOT/EPA/OSHA regulations, emergency response, contract negotiations and acquisitions and divestitures. Currently, he is Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Pipeline Services.
Jon D. (Jack) Simunek is an energy industry executive with more than 30 years of expertise in natural gas pipeline operations administration including operational, capital project and financial analysis and operating and capital budget preparation. Simunek has been named Vice President of Commercialization and Corporate Planning.
